I purchased this aircraft in 2020 in order to get my ultralight licence. It’s a BULA Basic Ultralight Aircraft factory built in 1988 with dual side by side controls.
It’s a fun aircraft to fly and I fly whenever I can usually several times a week. Please note that although it is fabric covered the fabric is in good shape. For a serious purchaser I will do a punch test. Time on the HOBBS meter is 800 hours – it was 450 when I purchased it. The engine is a brand new HKS 700e 2 cyclinder 700cc aircraft engine producing 60 HP with a 2.54 reduction gear. They stopped production last year but parts will be readily available for many years. This plane cruises at 80 mph and burns 12 litres per hour ! Please note - BULA aircraft cannot carry passengers. Only qualified pilots or instructors.
